Obesity Video Series: A Practical Look at Obesity, Diabetes, and Current Strategies
Dannemiller’s Obesity Series includes a collection of variable-length videos and educational assessments focused on prevalent issues in obesity management. Educators can look to modules for inspiration on how to incorporate obesity into the curriculum and/or assign to modules directly to trainees. Videos are available for online viewing or download.
As the obesity epidemic progresses, health care professionals should look toward educational forums to learn about the most modern advances in research, treatment, and best business practices to improve the quality of life for individuals with obesity. This video series is designed for current and future practitioners from all professions involved in obesity prevention, treatment, and research. The presentations are focused on improving patients’ total wellness by utilizing clinical research and evidence-based strategies to address the myriad of comorbid conditions related to obesity and diabetes to help practitioners treat the whole person.
Educators, current professionals, and/or trainees can review the video series to expand their understanding of current evidence-based obesity management strategies. Medical professionals seeking continuing education credits should complete the related educational activity that accompanies each video session. There is no fee to participate in this activity as of December 2019.
